Strongstep discusses the impact of technology in the way of working – “O Jornal Económico”

The technology is changing the way of working, with practical results in terms of the increasing competitiveness of companies. On the subject of StepTalks 2013, the Portuguese company Strongstep promotes, in its Lisbon facilities, at Chiado, a forum with remarkable national and international specialists within the area of software engineering.“We want to share the most recent trends focusing on agility, which is an essential ingredient for companies”, Pedro Castro Henriques, the Strongstep director, said. He also stated that this methodology is the tool that allows companies to “act and react to the market constraints”, making “innovative products and services with quality” and expanding into “new markets”.

Under discussion at StepTalks2013 are themes with the trends to process improvement in Portugal and in the world, the importance of tools to support process improvement, namely CMMI for ServicesITMARK, Agile and Scrum.

The president of TICE.PT, Vasco Lagarto, opens the session at 3:30pm, following the presentations of Kirk Botula and Lisa Masciantonio, from CMMI Institute, Pedro Correia from BPI and representatives of six Portuguese companies: Lara Osório from ISA, Cristina Carlos and Daniel Araújo from Exictos, Teresa Martins from Enermeter, Renato Portela from Multicert, Inês Santos, Miguel Barroso from Primavera, and the CEO from a technological company.
